Crafted from solid brass with a warm gold patina. These candle holders include an internal push-up ejector rod mechanism inside the stem to easily remove spent candle stubs. This mechanism still works in both candlesticks.
The design includes a multi-motif turned stem and an octagonal base, a common feature of the Victorian-era.
