Stunning pair of vintage 1980s modernist candlesticks designed by Renata Gandini for Arte Vetro Soffiato in Murano, Italy. They are hand-blown from Venetian crystal and featuring a deeply ribbed spiral motif all the way from the flared bases to the chalice cups.
This is an intentionally graduated, asymmetrical pair. Each piece is accented with 24-karat gold leaf trim along the top and bottom rims. Both bear the artist's signature etched into the glass near the base.
They are in excellent condition. The taller candlestick is 15.25" X 4", and the other is 11.75" X 4".
