Born in Turin, Vittorio Cajani was a talented painter and illustrator of figurative works and scenes of everyday life, especially those of the wealthy bourgeoisie of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, with a particular passion for horses. Here, instead, is a glimpse of a winter landscape, with a flock of sheep passing along the path that runs through the small village, rendered in his signature style, characterized by broad brushstrokes and textured color. The work is presented in a wooden frame from the first half of the 20th century. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
