The bed originates from an antique villa in Bassano del Grappa, Veneto, an area historically renowned for its tradition of fine woodworking and elegant domestic furniture.

The structure is distinguished by its imposing architectural presence and by the remarkable decorative quality of both the headboard and footboard. The design features a double-arched composition with large oval burl-wood panels, framed by deeply molded walnut profiles, carved architectural elements, turned posts and finely proportioned finials. The warm tone of the walnut, combined with the natural movement of the burl veneer, gives the piece a strong visual depth and a highly decorative presence.

The headboard is particularly impressive, with two symmetrical arched crests and oval central reserves that create a noble and scenographic effect. The footboard repeats the same decorative language, making the bed visually complete and harmonious from every angle. Its scale and ornamental richness make it suitable not only as a functional bed, but also as a statement piece for an elegant master bedroom, a historic residence, a boutique hotel, or a refined interior design project.

The bed has been part of A&MYART Collections since 1985 and was previously located in an antique villa in Bassano del Grappa, Italy. Its provenance, generous dimensions, and strong decorative character make it a highly distinctive piece within the tradition of northern Italian antique furniture.

The bed is suitable for a mattress and bed base measuring 170 x 200 cm. The maximum overall footprint is approximately 200 x 220 cm.
