The vases combine elegant classical form, refined hand-painted flowers and richly gilded detail, making them strong display pieces for both collectors and interiors.

The floral painting is of a high standard, with sunflowers, lilies, asters and wildflowers rendered in naturalistic colours and finished with fine gilded outlines. The asymmetrical compositions reflect the Art Nouveau taste of the period and give each vase a distinct character.

The form is enhanced by gilt faun-mask handles with elongated scrolling terminals. Fluted ornament to the neck and base, together with gilded leaf decoration around the lower body, adds a refined architectural quality to the design. Both vases retain their original Royal Worcester factory marks, including Registration No. 28655, Pattern No. 1911 and a Worcester date code corresponding to 1900. Royal Worcester blush ivory wares remain among the most admired English porcelain productions of the turn of the twentieth century, and matching pairs in excellent unrestored condition are especially desirable.
