A rare example of a center table designed and produced by Philip and Kelvin LaVerne in the United States c. 1960s. This incredible table top is finished in a patinated and acid-etched pewter and bronze with vibrant hand-painted polychrome enamels depicting an incredibly detailed and unique chinoiserie scene. The table top sits on four slightly curved legs having a circular stretcher. Slight seperation to bronze border seam in one spot (as pictured).
An opportunity to acquire an investment grade piece of functional art; work by the father son design duo has been steadily increasing in value, especially so over the past 5-10 years.
