This model, no. 4835, captivates with its perfectly balanced spherical shape and remarkable glaze work. The body of the vase features a deep oxblood red with luminous and subtle highlights, while the top is enlivened by a spectacular decoration of verdigris and purplish-brown drips evoking the natural oxidation of copper. These highly sought-after glaze effects are characteristic of the experiments conducted at the Bordeaux factory.
