The channel-back rises in five vertical channels, each seam finished with a twisted cord welt — a detail that points to the quality of the original upholstery work. The arms roll forward in a full, sculptural curve, upholstered to the edge and trimmed with a continuous run of dark nailheads that continues across the base skirt. The seat cushion is fitted and boxed, trimmed to match.
