An emerald‑green art glass bowl with a controlled champagne‑bubble design, Scandinavian Modern / Organic Modern, circa 1960s, Denmark. A finely hand‑crafted Scandinavian Modern art glass bowl in a rich emerald green, shaped in an organic, flower‑like form with softly folded petals. The thick‑walled glass contains finely controlled champagne‑like bubbles throughout, giving the piece depth and luminosity. Polished pontil to underside. In the style of the Danish art‑glass design house Holmegaard, the form and bubble work reflect the refined sculptural vocabulary of mid‑century Scandinavian glass. Beautiful as a decorative bowl, catchall, or for entertaining (nuts, candy, etc.)
