Signed on left bottom by the artist “Folkes.” Undated. The painting is of a valley that could be the U.S., however the canvas itself was made in London, England according to stamp on back, difficult to read but the canvas stamp says in part;: “ Acrylic Primed . . . London England.” The painting is in excellent condition consistent with age and wear. Colors are gentle and lovely. Painting is believed to be circa 1970s based on the style and frame. Custom framed in a light gold metal and wood frame with linen insert. Metal frame has some minor knicks as shown in photos. The painting is ready to hang with original hardware and original string (not wire). Dimensions: Frame 23 x 19 x 2 inches. Canvas: 20 x 16 x 2 inches. See less
