This a MCM folding metal step stool. It is probably made of steel, due its weight and it does react positively to a magnet on the frame and the two steps. It may be an early Black & Decker model because the feet look similar, which are slanted. There are no manufacturer marks.
The color is a beauty, Harvest Gold steps on a black frame. Opening and closing are easy with having it upside down and pushing/pulling the bottom step and bottom back rod.
