This table was purchased by O.D. Miller in the 1940s. O.D. was a state senator and even ran for governor of AZ.
The table was made by Erik Bolin, a furniture designer active in the early to mid-20th century, known for styling pieces in French Provincial and Normandy influences. He worked out of Paris, Sweden, and Los Angeles, and designed for high-profile clients including Marilyn Monroe, Katherine Hepburn, and Spencer Tracy.
1940–1949: A notable cerused oak French Provincial style dining table is dated to this period.
My mother had the chair re-upholstered in the 80s. C'est la vie.
