The iconic "Willow" Collection designed by David Allen for McGuire Furniture, circa 1970s. This substantial five-piece lounge grouping showcases McGuire's renowned craftsmanship, featuring hand-wrapped sculptural rattan and bamboo frames with the collection's distinctive open latticework sides and woven bases.
The set includes two generous three-seat sofa, a large lounge chair and a glass-top occasional table. Original striped upholstered cushions in warm earth tones complement the natural rattan finish and lend an effortless California coastal aesthetic that remains as relevant today as when the collection was introduced. The seats retain the original McGuire metal tags, per images. Some original catalog images from McGuire look books included.

Retaining its original character with attractive age and patina consistent with vintage use. This set presents a very rare opportunity to acquire a large and increasingly difficult-to-find McGuire Willow Collection ensemble. This set is part of a large estate we will be listing owned by a prominent Houston art dealer and antiques collector. This set is in unusually good condition. The cushions need to be recovered, but otherwise it is in a lovely state.
