An authentic piece of New York City history, this rare heavy 1940s hotel silver pedestal platter functions beautifully as an elevated server for hors d'oeuvres, bar coasters, or desserts. Custom-crafted for the historic dining rooms of The Roosevelt Hotel in Manhattan, it features a softly squared platform with a classical Neoclassical egg-and-dart stamped border.
The underside is cleanly factory-stamped with full provenance. Measures 4.5" H x 5.25" W x 5.25" D.
