This work by Santa Fe and Portland artist Trina Badarak consists of about four hundred bullet casings filled with wax! I myself bought it directly from the artist in the early 2000s, so I know it's her work even though she didn't sign it.
I've most often displayed it lying on a coffee or side table, but it does have hanging hardware on its back.
I don't remember that she ever said so, but it does seem to me like an effective anti-war statement – especially pertinent these days.
