An authentic and exceptionally desirable complete set of three "Nagato" side tables/stools designed by renowned French minimalist Christian Liaigre and produced by Holly Hunt for the American market.

Designed by Christian Liaigre in 1986, the Nagato exists somewhere between furniture and sculpture. Named after a Japanese town and inspired by Constantin Brancusi's iconic Endless Column, its monolithic geometric form exemplifies Liaigre's philosophy of quiet luxury, restraint, and reverence for natural materials. Carved from solid raw French oak and elevated on slender steel bases, each piece develops its own character over time as the wood naturally checks, moves, and acquires a rich patina. These organic variations are not defects but an intentional and celebrated aspect of the design.
