This is a beautiful Louis XVI dark brown wood carved console with fluted legs. The top is entirely stone I believe yellow quartz marble inlaid with semi precious stones in a flower design. The stone is backed by board. This is a unique and very fine piece. It is not as old as early Pietra Dura that is done in green, white and black marble. Please look at the details. I actually think this would be beautiful for a Palm Beach style because of the soft yellow and flowers. Gorgeous condition. Top is perfect. Small spot of white paint on the base.
