Pair of Frederick Cooper table lamps featuring elegant celadon crackle-glazed ceramic urn forms adorned with decorative ring handles. Inspired by classical Chinese vessel silhouettes, these lamps combine timeless Chinoiserie influence with the refined scale and quality for which Frederick Cooper is known.
The softly crackled celadon glaze displays beautiful variation and depth, lending the lamps an understated sophistication that works equally well in traditional, transitional, coastal, Palm Beach, and Hollywood Regency interiors. Raised on rich dark wood plinth bases with brass accents, the pair offers a wonderful balance of texture, color, and architectural presence.
Their generous scale makes them ideal for flanking a sofa, anchoring a console, or serving as statement bedside lamps. Retaining their original heavy cast brass finials, the lamps present beautifully and appear remarkably well preserved.
