This armchair is in excellent structural condition. The solid-wood frame is exceptionally heavy and sturdy, with absolutely zero sagging, loose springs, or structural wobbles. The ribbed upholstery fabric remains clean, firm, and beautifully preserved. Meticulously cared for in a pristine, climate-controlled (including dehumidified), smoke-free home. This chair has served us well in our finished basement, which we used occasionally, so the condition of the chair is excellent. If we weren't downsizing our home as empty nesters, we would take it with us!
