For sale: condiment service model 5070, designed by the famous Italian designer Ettore Sottsass for the Alessi company.
Created in the 1970s, this iconic service reflects Sottsass's experimental approach, foreshadowing his work within the Memphis movement. It combines simple geometric forms and functionality with an aesthetic that is both minimalist and expressive.
The set generally consists of a stainless steel stand that holds several glass containers:
- Oil merchant
- Vinegar press
- Salt shaker
- Pepper mill
The entire unit rests on a polished stainless steel frame with integrated handles for easy transport. The glass containers provide transparency and contrast with the metal structure.
