Chinese Kangxi porcelain temple fruit pyramids in famille verte palette. Each measures 6 3/4" tall x 3 1/2" diameter. Good condition. Each fruit is molded individually and stacked in a traditional pyramid. Kangxi fruit stacks were used as fruit offerings in a home or temple altar, and also in tombs. Worshipers believed the Gods could not discern the difference between fresh fruit and porcelain facsimiles. See less
