An exquisite, investment-grade set of six (6) vintage brandy snifters by the renowned German maker Cristallerie Schott Zwiesel. Purchased directly in Germany in 1983, this set has had a single owner and has spent its entire life strictly on display in a china cabinet. They have never been used.
Crafted from Echt Bleikristall (genuine lead crystal with a content of over 24% PbO), these heavy, balloon-style glasses boast incredible clarity and a brilliant, diamond-and-wedge crosshatch cut that beautifully refracts ambient light. Because they have never been used or laundered, the crystal remains completely free of the micro-scratches, clouding, or dullness common in vintage glassware. When gently tapped, they ring with the long, clear metallic tone unique to premium European lead crystal.
