The vase features a matte, textured finish that gives it an aged, excavated look.
The term "Scavo" means "excavated" in Italian and refers to a Murano glass technique that imitates the textured appearance of ancient objects found in archaeological excavations.
This effect is achieved by dispersing a mixture of powders on the glass surface during production and then heating the item.
