A stunning majolica earthenware vase, entirely hand-crafted on a lathe, finished with acid-treated glaze and decorated in classic Vietri style, featuring a shepherd, goats, a large tree, and a small landscape with houses and a small tree. Dating to the first half of the 20th century, it was made in Vietri by the renowned Procida brothers, and is signed "Procida Vietri" under the base. The ceramic biscuit finish is quite thick and substantial, making it quite heavy for its size. The patina is beautiful, and it's believed to be made around 1930.
