This gorgeous Paper Weight is made of art glass. This stunning desktop sculpture has a manufacturer's label which reads, "Made in Murano Italy", see pictures. It presents an elegant egg-shaped silhouette, and the interior of the clear glass is decorated with the filigrana / latticino technique which consists of interlaced delicate white glass filaments, a style popularized in the Mid 20th Century. This beautiful tabletop / desktop accessory would be a perfect gift or addition to any collection of vintage paperweights or artful Murano glass.
