A modular wall installation of 4 sconces, produced by Hoffmeister in Germany during the 1960s. Each fixture is formed in molded white plastic, shaped as a hexagon with its surface folded into sculptural planes. A single bulb punctuates the center, scattering subtle highlights across the concave form.
The sconces are fully functional, fitted with sockets and wiring Together they assemble into a rhythmic field of repeating hexagons, their sculptural surfaces glowing with soft diffusion when lit. A striking wall composition, both luminous and architectural. Included are 4 silver tipped bulbs. Each sconce measures 14"W x 3.5"D x 14"H.
