Original 1982 illustrated poster by Michel Kichka depicting a chaotic street scene in Times Square. The poster captures the frazzled urban energy (and questionable behavior) of 1980s New York. Michel Kichka, the artist, was born in Belgium to parents who were Holocaust survivors and moved to Israel in 1974 to become one of Israel’s best-known and most revered political cartoonists who has also published acclaimed graphic novels.
Poster is mounted on white mat and professionally framed in gilt frame behind glass. Excellent condition.
