Monterey Classic sideboard in the rich Smokey Maple finish, circa 1931. This early example captures the relaxed, rustic California style the line is known for, with its warm tone and simple, sturdy construction.
The piece features a shaped backboard with gently scalloped crest, a central drawer, and two cabinet doors with original iron strap hinges and latches. The open center shelf adds both function and visual interest, making it ideal for serving pieces, linens, or display.
The Smokey Maple finish has a soft depth and natural variation that highlights the wood grain beautifully. Solid and well-proportioned, this sideboard works just as well in a dining room as it does in a kitchen or entry. A classic 1930s Monterey piece with timeless character.
