Delicate goldscheider art déco ceramic figurine of the 1930s: a dancer posing gracefully with her head tilted to the right, … Read more Delicate goldscheider art déco ceramic figurine of the 1930s: a dancer posing gracefully with her head tilted to the right, wearing a close-fitting bustier top and a floor-length, wide slit at the front, featuring a stylised poppy motif in shades of pink, black and grey; she holds the hem aloft with her arms outstretched to either side like butterfly wings, so that her right leg, positioned forward, is visible through the opening. On a beige oval plinth with light green shading. Signed stephan dakon (1904 - 1992), one of the most important designerswho worked for the goldscheider manufactory from 1924 until the mid-fifties.
