The oval top is richly decorated with contrasting marquetry and fruitwood inlay, centered by a stylized floral medallion within concentric borders, scalloped reserves, and a segmented outer band. The warm mahogany-toned surface is further enhanced by delicate stringing and contrasting veneers, giving the table a highly decorative yet restrained Edwardian character.

The front apron incorporates a discreet single pull slide shelf, fitted with a small knob and decorated with fine garland and oval medallion inlay. This useful slide would have extended the serving surface for tea, cups, or small accessories, making the piece both practical and ornamental.
