At its center sits a candle well, designed to hold a single taper candle whose flame glows softly through the surrounding stone petals once lit.

This is the Flora, the signature sculptural piece in Artefactia's collection of hand-carved marble objects. Carving a rose at this scale and detail is among the most demanding forms of stone carving still practiced in India today, kept alive by only a small number of master artisans working within this 400-year-old marble tradition. Every piece is entirely unique, and natural variation in tone and veining is part of the stone's character rather than a flaw.
