The … Read more We love this unusual combination of rope chain and twisted bar link seen in this vintage 14k gold chain. The bar links are placed about 1/2” apart, and have a unique twist, as if they consist of many tiny bar links stacked on top of each other in a staggered placement. The twisted bar links flow nicely into the twist of the rope chain—from some angles they appear as almost a continuation of the rope chain, while other angles reveal the open sides of the elongated links. This gives a nice texture and rhythm to the chain, and brings a visual relief to the repeated pattern of a rope chain. It has a nice length and looks great alone or with a pendant.

The chain is 22” long and 1.85 mm wide. It weighs 6.4 grams. It has a nice lobster clasp and is marked 14k. See less
