Vintage Art Deco sterling silver vanity box manufactured by Apollo Silver Co., part of Bernard Rice’s Sons, New York. The piece features a rectangular form with precision engine-turned engraving across the lid, creating a linear geometric surface typical of early 20th-century machine-etched decorative silverwork.
The center cartouche is left smooth and unengraved, intended for monogram personalization, framed by the contrasting textured ground pattern. The interior is fitted for small personal storage, consistent with boudoir and smoking accessories produced for the American Art Deco market in the early 1930s.
Marked “STERLING” with maker’s mark attribution consistent with Apollo Silver Co. production circa 1930–1935.
