The shaped and cross banded top sits above an arrangement of four dovetailed drawers, including a cleverly designed false double front drawer and fitted cellarette drawer and fitted cellarette drawer retaining traces of its original metal lining.
Despite its age and traditional color--it feels surprisingly fresh and young because of its' pristine condition, shiny beautiful hardware and smaller size. The ivory keyholes are beyond elegant.
Beautiful craftsmanship is evident throughout from the finely inlaid stringing and satinwood-style details the original lion mask brass ring pulls and inlaid escutcheons. Slender tapered legs lend a light, sophisticated profile, while the warm mahogany patina showcases the character and depth that only centuries of age can provide.
