Minimalist table lamp by the Swiss manufacturer Baltensweiler, designed by Rosemarie and Rico Baltensweiler in the 1950s. This example is from an early series dating back to the 1960s.
A functional design with a very understated aesthetic. The reflector shade is black, and the dome is made of aluminum. A perfectly fitted push-button switch is located at the top of the dome. The lamp's construction allows for a high degree of flexibility thanks to its various joints. The heavy base easily supports the arm, which can extend quite far.
The lamp is in very good condition with signs of use and patina. The electrical components have been renewed by Baltensweiler Service in Switzerland. The shade is also new.
