The shape is generous and rounded, with a short neck tinted a celadon green. The base, made of solid, polished clear glass, anchors the piece with a beautiful sturdiness without weighing down its silhouette. A small brass eyelet on the side is a discreet reminder of its original purpose: to illuminate, even though today it stands on its own as a decorative piece. The base bears a partially legible diamond-point engraved signature, a reminder that each Murano piece is first and foremost the work of a glassblower. The marbled glass technique, typical of Venetian workshops, gives this object a unique and vibrant character, ensuring that no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
