Elegant pair of French shelving units attributed to Artelano, dating from the 1970s.
Featuring satin-finished anodized metal frames combined with smoked glass shelves, these bookcases perfectly illustrate the refined and architectural aesthetic of high-end French modernist design.
Their minimalist structure creates a remarkable sense of lightness while offering generous display and storage capacity. The smoked glass shelves bring depth and sophistication, while the anodized metal frame provides a subtle industrial elegance characteristic of the period.
Placed side by side, the two units form an impressive 150 cm wide shelving system, ideal for displaying books, ceramics, artworks and design objects. They may also be used separately depending on the layout of the space.
An important feature is their fully demountable construction. Each unit can be completely dismantled into flat elements, making transport, handling, storage and international shipping significantly easier than with conventional shelving systems.
