The top is constructed from wide cherrywood planks framed by breadboard ends and displays a rich honey-toned patina developed over generations of use. The table features a single drawer at one end and a pull-out tray at the opposite end, providing additional storage and workspace. Raised on four turned cherrywood legs with bulbous ring turnings and fluted details, the table reflects the influence of Louis Philippe-era provincial craftsmanship while retaining the practical utility of a traditional French farmhouse table. Pegged joinery, hand-crafted details, and visible signs of traditional construction throughout further highlight its provincial origins. Our restoration team has structurally restored the table for stability while preserving its original character. The wood has been carefully cleaned and finished with wax to revive the natural color and grain without removing the patina acquired through age and use.
