This refined 5-piece seating set combines carved beechwood frames, an original pastel and green Trianon finish, cane detailing, and newly renewed luxury upholstery.
The sofa is made in the classic French corbeille model, with a graceful curved form and romantic silhouette. The four matching bergère chairs feature cane sides, giving the set a light, elegant, and authentic French salon character. Together, the sofa and chairs create a beautifully coordinated seating arrangement for a grand living room, formal salon, boutique hotel, foyer, dressing room, or interior design project.
The handmade frames are crafted from solid beech wood and retain their original old pastel and green Trianon finish. The carved frames are richly decorated with floral, scroll, and ornamental details. The aged painted finish has developed a lovely natural patina over time, adding depth, softness, and authentic vintage charm.
The complete set has recently been professionally reupholstered by a skilled team. The upholstery combines soft velvet with floral damask fabric. The sides of the sofa and chairs are upholstered in tufted velvet, while the backs are finished in a solid velvet style. The backrests and seat cushions are upholstered in floral damask fabric, made from a silk and cotton blend. The fabric was carefully selected to complement the pastel and green decorated beechwood frames.
