Vintage Sligh-Lowry Regency Revival Writing Desk – Kidney Shaped, Tooled Leather Top
Elevate your home office with this elegant vintage writing desk by the renowned Sligh-Lowry Furniture Co. (Holland, Michigan). This classic Regency Revival piece features a sophisticated kidney shape, solid wood construction, and a signature green tooled leather top with gold-leaf detailing.
Maker: Sligh-Lowry Furniture Co. (marked in drawer)
Style: Regency Revival / Traditional
Features: Five smooth-sliding drawers with classic hardware.
Measurements: Approx. 44 inches wide and 23 inches deep.
Condition Notes:
This is a sturdy, high-quality vintage piece with classic character. There is some surface wear consistent with age. Specifically, there is dried glitter glue on the leather surface that I have not been able to fully remove without risking damage to the finish, see photos. The wood frame has been cleaned and is in excellent condition. This is an ideal piece for a buyer looking for a manageable project to restore the leather or for someone who appreciates the desk's vintage charm as-is.
