Sukotai style underglaze iron-black ceramic vase. It strongly reflects the historic pottery traditions of Sawanghalok ware from the Sukotai kindom of Thailand from the 14th - 16th centuries. The baluster style body, flared mouth, and elevated pedestal foot ring are typical
of regional water or ritual vessels. The Hamsa motif in the central panel is a mythical bird which is the mount of Saraswati the Hindu goddess of creativity.
