Gorgeous vintage Tom Torrens modernist bell complete with original bracket for hanging. Forged heavy duty steel has aged to a beautiful rustic, natural patina. Hand turned leather wrapped wood striker creates a melodious gong-like sound. Never used, with original tag. Circa 2000.
Measures approximately 21" h with chain (11" plus for bell alone) x 5 1/4" round. Measurements do not include clapper). Bracket measures 3 1/2" w x 6" h x 6" d.
Based in Washington state, Tom Torrens metal sculptures have been exhibited worldwide and featured in Architectural Digest and many other design publications.
Condition is excellent, never used or displayed. Natural patina.
