Carrie Jackson Davidson Watercolor Painting of Klongs in Hong Kong, 1957
Offered for sale is a 1957 watercolor painting by Carrie Jackson Davidson( 1891-1975). The delicately executed work is signed and dated in the lower right. The work is displayed in a wood frame with a painted liner and is under glass.
Born in Colorado on Sept. 15, 1891. Mrs. Davidson studied painting in her native state before moving to southern California in about 1940. After settling in Pasadena, she remained there until her demise on May 19, 1975. Primarily a landscape painter, her work includes scenes of Palm Springs and Mt Baldy.
