Large Venetian Art Nouveau style vertical mirror (230 x 110 cm, 60 kg).
Composed of several assembled mirrored glass panels, held together by decorative blackened metal rosettes. The decoration consists of gilt metal ornaments applied directly to the glass surface: arabesques, scrolls, acanthus leaves, and a central palmette motif in full bloom at the top, characteristic of the Art Nouveau ornamental repertoire of the early 20th century. The peripheral frame is made of gilt wood, with a slender and understated profile, allowing the central ornamentation to take center stage. The glass has a light antique patina, with no visible alteration to the silvering. The gilding is well preserved in its original condition. No restoration work has been carried out. This piece is entirely original and in excellent condition.
