Fantastic piece of Italian pottery, assumed to be 1960s vintage. Maker not certain, but may have been produced by Zaccagnini.
Amazing art pottery horse sculpture. Beautifully crafted, we believe this is mold made with added applied details and hand finishing. The black/green glaze is eye catching, reminiscent of verdigris, like an ancient statue. Iconic and the perfect accent for any retro or MCM decor. An absolute knock-out piece.
Measures 19.25"x 12"x 23.25" and weighs 30lbs. Typical production/glazing variations and nil handling wear. No chips or cracks. Unsigned, undated, but retains and original label to the backside of the base.
