This sauté pan came to us alongside the saucepan listed separately in our shop — a natural pair, though sold individually. Eight inches across, solid copper walls, tin lining bright and intact, with the cast iron handle that marks the French professional tradition. The interior shows honest use — evidence of a pan that has actually cooked things worth eating, in a kitchen that took cooking seriously.
Baumalu has been making copper cookware in Baldenheim, Alsace since 1971. Not automated. Not outsourced. Craftsmen validate every piece at every stage. This is what that looks like twenty years on — still true, still ready.
