A rare and elegant Vienna Secession bentwood table, attributed to the Jacob & Josef Kohn manufacturing circle, produced in Austria … Read more A rare and elegant Vienna Secession bentwood table, attributed to the Jacob & Josef Kohn manufacturing circle, produced in Austria around 1900–1910. The table features an architectural four-column base with curved bentwood stretchers, black lacquered finish, and original brass sabots, exemplifying the refined geometric aesthetics of the Viennese Secession movement.

The square top measures 88 × 88 cm with a height of 70 cm and has been professionally restored, preserving its original construction while presenting beautifully. The table is accompanied by its custom-fitted frosted glass top, which protects the surface and has belonged to the piece for decades. The glass shows small chips at three corner cut-outs, consistent with age and use, but remains stable and fully functional.

This table was acquired from the same Viennese estate as a documented set of Gustav Siegel Model No. 714 armchairs for Jacob & Josef Kohn and a matching round Vienna Secession dining table, suggesting it originally formed part of the same high-quality interior ensemble.

The round table and the Gustav Siegel armchairs are available separately in my listings, offering collectors a rare opportunity to reunite pieces from the same historic provenance. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
