Both front and back sides have nine drawers each making this a whopping eighteen drawer desk.

The timber is all flamed mahogany, naturally it has colour variations from side to side. The locks are stamped J Favons & Smith.

This piece dismantles into four or five main pieces for ease of transport you have the top with is one solid piece, the middle drawer top and base, then the two side pedestals are each one solid piece as opposed to four sperate pedestals.

The desk has had various repairs over the years, replacement pieces of timber fitted on the inside of the frame, no where you can see. There will be age and use related patina marks all over.
