The lamp retains the original makers mark cast into the arm elbow this is only placed here on the early model also the ‘Patent Pending’ stamp indicate this a one of the first models . There are some other distinguishing features which denote an early model lamp, the cable entry is through the taller cast metal base, the lamp has chromed arms (under the white overpaint), there are 5 tensioning holes on the upper arm to adjust spring tension. The 4 springs allow the lamp to be positioned and angled with a light touch that then keeps its position, making a perfectly balanced and functional lamp. Perfect for many table tops and desks in the home and workplace, this classic, adjustable lamp is a must have and will fit well in any décor.
