Salloch, the German-born American artist and graphic designer who emigrated to the United
States in 1937. This unframed work depicts an alpine valley scene framed by prominent evergreen trees. Signed at the bottom left and dated 1931.
The sheet measures approximately 17.1/4'' X 13.1/4''. Condition is vintage and unrestored, with minor edge wear. Sold unframed.
A strong example of Salloch’s mid-century landscape work, with fluid ink line and transparent
watercolor washes.
